Famous Temple in Bangkok

An ancient city have a lot of places. Temple is an important one for Thai Citizen to respect. We normally call temple as "Wat" (The meaning in Thai language is temple).
The famous temple in Bangkok are as following;

Wat Aroon, is best known for a porcelain encrusted 79 metre central pagoda which sparkles in the sun. The famous Chao Phraya riverbank landmark diagonally opporsite the Grand Palace.

Wat Benchamabophit located on Si Ayutthaya road, this unique marble emple was constructed during the reign of King Rama V. It employs European ecclesiastic details, such as stained glass windows, and contains a superb cloister collection of bronze Buddha images.

Wat Pho, is famous for school of Thai massage. This large and extensive temple neighbours the Grand Palance enclave on Thai Wang Road and contains a gigantic gold plated Reclining Buddha some 46 metres long and 15 metre high with inlaid mother of pearl soles. The temple is also regarded as the centre of public education and is sometimes called Thailand's first university.
